We drove to New York City over the weekend and spent time walking around showing my mom-in-law our favorite (from the few we know) places in The City. Central Park is probably every New Yorkers and every visitors favorite spot, so it’s no surprise that it’s sort of a ritual for me to spend an hour or two there. The park surrounded by the cityscape fascinates me. The fact that you can walk into the park and be transported to a completely different and incredibly quiet landscape, is surreal.
All my past visits have been around fall, so this was my first visit to this snowy-white winter wonderland!
Here are a few pictures of what I wore and a couple of shots of one of my fav places!
Not to mention standing without a jacket, scarf and on top of the snow meant I had to be defrosted after these shots!
Quick note before you check out the pictures. I recently bought this fuzzy, boxy crop sweater in a sale. I picked a minty shade thinking it will go to my spring wardrobe as well. I can style it with skirts or wear it with shorts, layer over a maxi when the weather is warmer, yet crisp.
Cheeky Tip: Especially when buying in a sale (because we obviously tend to buy more when the price seems good) imagine 3-4 ways of styling a product before you buy. Re-styling your buys to maximize your investment is always a smarter way to buy. Not to mention it will save you a lot of time when putting together an outfit!
