We reviewed the FCUK autumn / winter collection last year, one of our first reviews after we started Moda Ninja. When the nice people at French Connection reached out again, I was happy to go check it out. I have always liked their clothes, in fact one of my favorite go to is a printed tube dress from them. Speaking of dresses, they have a great collection for Spring Summer – they continued to use lace which we saw last season too and incorporated solid bright colors and color blocking and lastly prints .
Here is what I liked.
I loved this printed dress, has a bit of a Japanese influence don’t you think, with the lotus flower and kitschy print?
I also liked this lace dress with panels on the sides which create an illusion of slimness.
I broke the monotony of this dress buy using a slim neon belt from the FCUK collection.
This was my personal favorite and had I not been on a shopping ban, I would most definitely bought this color blocked number.
I loved the coral along with the cut work detailing on the bag, though i think it is too over sized for me.
The lace back detail on this solid blue dress was gorgeous.
Dresses were not all I liked, the collection has bright trousers, floral tees and their take on this seasons hottest trend- stripes!
What got me most excited was an entire rack full of bags. Tote and slings in bright hues are a great addition to ones wardrobe to add just the right pop of colour to gloomy monsoons!
I loved reviewing this collection, and am definitely heading there as soon as my shopping ban is over to pick up my favorite color blocked dress!
