One of things about living in a country with four seasons is the need to have four different wardrobes. Every season brings in fresh styles & the urge to go splurge on all the beautiful things displayed in the windows is overwhelming. However, I’ve decided I do not need to shop this fall. I plan to use, style & wear the clothes I have in my wardrobe to stay warm & yet look stylish. So you might find me styling a lot of my summer stuff differently. Whether it’s wearing blazers with maxis and boots (as styled in Country Girl ) or leggings with dresses layered with sweaters, I am planning on mastering the art of layering without additional shopping. This means a lot of the accessories & shoes maybe repeated, but you will have tons of ideas on how to reuse & style pieces from your wardrobe through fall and early winter.
When one thinks of fall one naturally thinks of deeper hues and warmer colors, this outfit is exactly that.
I layered a leaf green dress (worn recently in the post Ciao! Summer) with a sweater, leggings and a pair of knee highs. I wore this outfit to the 12th World Wide Instameet in Philly, which turned out to be a fun event despite the miserable cold & clouds. All pictures are by Will of @thepositivevisual on Instagram.
