Pune has always been fashion conscious and off late teens and adults alike seem to be taking more and more interest in latest fashion trends. With large shopping complexes like Phoenix, Koregaon Park PLaza along with the local boutiques in Koregaon Park, Aundh and Camp offering a wide range of shopping options, we are spoilt for choice! So weather you are at a coffee shop or a restaurant or a lounge, one tends to see a number of well dressed men and women around.
I was at the relaunch of Evviva Sky Lounge at the Courtyard by Marriott and got a few clicks of the trends I spotted. Black is still the color of choice for an evening out, I spotted four beautiful ladies in very different black outfits.
Stylist, Puja Shah tried to stand out with a blazer over what looked like a black kurta to me and styled it with a chunky Versace neck piece.
On the left, Nafisha Poonawala, adopted the printed pants and cut out top trend with comfy wedges. Her pants are from Promod.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see this combination of Aztec prints plus sequin. The dress is from Promod.
While the lady on the right had worn an Italian design (I also loved her neck piece), Sharmista Sahu, who also guest blogged with us earlier wore a piece from one of the boutiques in Pune, matching her lips to the color of her clutch. I wore the stripe jumpsuit from Zara which I have worn earlier here. Clutch is from Guess.
My personal favorite was Karen Anand’s Parrot Greenish Neon Silk Ritu Kumar. Don’t miss the statement ring! (unfortunately, I could not get a good picture or detail about the ring)
I was quite busy checking out the ladies :), and in the little time I had, I spotted this cool grey linen blazer and got a very reluctant Vineet Mishra, to get snapped (I came to know he is the GM of the Courtyard Marriot much later when he gave me his card)
Pune is moving up the style ladder and we are keeping an eye. Watch out for more posts on Pune’s club and street style.
Before I sign off, here is a sneak peek into Evviva. I quite enjoy roof top places and I will definitely be visiting again especially since they have a bar that looks like this! I follow them on Twitter to stay tuned on offers and events they have.
