Having different set of clothes for work and play is a fashion norm we all grew up with. But as fashion bloggers, only when we are able to break these set notions do we really do our job. Wearing high street label top to bottom can make anyone look like a fashionista but if you can stand high at a cocktail party in work clothes with right accessories or dress down your night out outfit to work is when you own the style and not let clothes own you.In a series of blog posts, we are going to show how you could style pieces for both work and play.
Since Cheeky Ninja was in India after 6 months, we had to paint the town red. We did a quick shoot before heading out to celebrate.Keeping it cool in the hot and humid Bombay summer, I wore this loose fit tapered pants and crop top with a wrist cuff and a Phulkari handwork clutch. It is either because of changing style or the heat, I see myself moving from accessory overload kinda style to minimal accessories.
Cheeky kept it stylish yet effortlessly summer chic in an all white outfit. She wore a flare midi skirt and printed top with embellishment detail and a pair of drop earrings. The studded hot pink clutch added color to the outfit.
Watch out for next post where we style the same outfit for work.
